A listing is basically an advertisement of your property. It's main purpose is to let people know your property is available and attract them towards buying or renting it. Without proper advertising, you won't be able to capture the attention of potential clients, which is why it is important to know the most important aspects of an effective property listing.
Pictures
A picture says a thousand words! Pictures are extremely important when listing a property. Searchers will always favor listings with pictures so the more pictures you display, the better. Try to take pictures of all areas of the property inside and outside while labeling each of the pictures so the searcher will feel like they are visiting the property already. Detailed description
Writing a description about your property allows you to say more about your property other than the listing title and the amenities. This is the area where you want to market your property in a more personal way and tell the viewers additional information. For example, "Beautiful apartment with close proximity to a public park, supermarket, and a school. It is located in a safe neighborhood perfect for small famlies to bring up their children."
Language
Since Kuwait has a diverse population, it is important to write in both Arabic and English so you cater to the most amount of searchers. This will assure that your listing is effective for all of your potential customers.
Floor plan
A floor plan is important because it allows the searcher see how all the pictures come together and visualize the layout and size of the property. Floor plans add great value to your listing and will display professionalism and help the searcher make a much more informed decision from the comfort of his or her home.
Reliable Contact
Once a searcher is interested in your property, they will want to contact you and ask for a tour. Provide a phone number and the times that you are available so they will be able to call and set up a meeting. An email address is always ideal since they can send you an email at any time with their phone number and you can get back to them as soon as possible.
Honesty
Be honest about all your property information and details. Remember that people only make decisions after visiting the property so if the listing doesn't represent the property exactly, then the searcher will feel deceived and will most likely walk away from your property. People searching for a property usually know exactly what they are looking for so it is important to be honest and find the right person for your particular property.
